The Golf course is available for social golf at any time, outside competitions, cards available, Honesty box for green fees at 10th Tee.

The Clubhouse is a spacious and popular venue for weddings, Birthday Celebrations, Meetings etc with a seating capacity for 150 people. Full bar facilities are available, no poker machines.

Bird Watching
look-387482_640 The Barraba area is a renowned district for bird-watching, which can be undertaken along any of the 14 recognised “bird routes” in the area – a natural tourism attraction that won the region an award for environmental tourism. Bird-watching enthusiasts may also be able to spot the endangered Regent Honeyeater among the some 190 species of birds that frequent the area.

Fuller Gallery and Claypan

The Fuller Gallery showcases the amazing talents of local artists and artizans.

The Claypan is the heart of the Barraba Potters, and has been a local icon for 40 years.

Both are run by the Barraba Potters and Craft Guild.

Nandewar Historical Society Museum

The Nandewar Historical Society volunteers run the Museum. There are many fascinating items and pieces in the Museum, and the volunteers have a wealth of local knowledge, particularly family history.

The Museum will open on request, just drop in to the Visitor Information Centre and ask.

If you believe the old saying “knowledge is power”, we could presume that Ron Hiscock is a fairly powerful man.

He’s not only passionate about his own family history, but his collection of memorabilia has grown exponentially and become a “shed of knowledge” catering to all interests.

Barraba Swimming Pool Open for the Season!
